What’s the difference between Standard and Premium?
Standard covers entry-level exams: local law enforcement, fire, corrections, EMT-Basic, and federal entrance exams (CBP, Border Patrol, DEA, Secret Service). Premium adds post-academy certification prep (NFPA 1001, FL SOCE, TX TCOLE, NREMT Paramedic, APCO PST), federal hiring guides, and advanced tools like the federal resume writer, oral board simulation, disqualifier checker, and multi-agency application tracker.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade anytime from your account settings, and the change takes effect immediately. No need to wait for a billing cycle.
Do I need a credit card to get started?
No. The Free plan requires no credit card. If you upgrade to Standard or Premium, you’ll add payment at that point.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle (upgrades take effect immediately).
Is there a discount for annual billing?
Annual plans are coming soon. Join the waitlist or start free. Early members will be the first to access annual pricing.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. BadgePrep is month-to-month. Cancel anytime from your account settings, with no penalties and no long-term contracts.
What’s included in the Department plans?
Department plans include an admin portal where administrators can create custom study content, build quizzes, push material to recruits, track performance, and manage cohorts, all from a branded dashboard.
Do recruits on a Department plan need their own individual subscription?
No. Recruits invited through a Department plan get access through the department’s subscription. No separate individual plan needed.
