1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BadgePrep (badgeprep.academy), operated by ThreatForge Global LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use BadgePrep.
2. Description of Service
BadgePrep is an educational preparation and career development platform for individuals pursuing careers in public safety, including but not limited to law enforcement, fire service, emergency medical services, corrections, emergency dispatch, security, and federal law enforcement. BadgePrep provides study materials, practice tests, memory training exercises, flashcard tools, interview preparation resources, fitness planning tools, application tracking, AI chat assistance (coming soon), federal resume building, and related career development features.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- •Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- •Maintain and promptly update your account information.
- •Maintain the confidentiality of your password and account credentials.
- •Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
- •Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
BadgePrep offers individual subscription plans (Free, Standard, Premium) and department/academy plans (Department Starter, Department Pro, Enterprise Academy). Individual plans are available by subscription. Pricing and trial details will be published at launch.
- •Subscriptions are billed monthly unless otherwise specified.
- •You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard.
- •Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- •Department and Enterprise pricing is as stated on our pricing page or as agreed upon in a separate service agreement.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice to active subscribers.
4a. Refund Policy
BadgePrep offers a 7-day full refund on all individual subscription plans (Standard and Premium). If you are not satisfied within the first 7 days of your subscription, contact us at john@threatforgeglobal.com for a full refund. No questions asked. After 7 days, subscriptions may be cancelled to stop future billing, but no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Not satisfied in your first 7 days? Email john@threatforgeglobal.com for a full refund — no questions asked. This policy applies to Standard and Premium individual plans only. Department and Enterprise plans are subject to separate service agreements.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- •Use BadgePrep for any unlawful purpose.
- •Share, distribute, or resell BadgePrep content or materials without written permission.
- •Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
- •Use automated systems or software to extract data from BadgePrep (scraping, bots, or similar technologies).
- •Impersonate another person or entity.
- •Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
- •Interfere with or disrupt the operation of BadgePrep or its servers.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, software, and design elements on BadgePrep are the property of ThreatForge Global LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from BadgePrep content without prior written consent.
“BadgePrep” and “ThreatForge Global” are trademarks of ThreatForge Global LLC.
7. User-Generated Content
If you create flashcards, notes, or other content within BadgePrep, you retain ownership of that content. By creating content on the platform, you grant ThreatForge Global LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing BadgePrep services to you.
Department administrators who create custom content for their organizations retain ownership of that content, subject to the terms of their department service agreement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThreatForge Global LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of BadgePrep.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of BadgePrep shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
BadgePrep is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that BadgePrep will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to access BadgePrep ceases immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the State of Washington.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on BadgePrep and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of BadgePrep after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

- •Personalize your experience based on your selected career path and state.
- •Process subscriptions and payments.
- •Send you service-related communications (account updates, billing, feature announcements).
- •Generate analytics and performance reports for individual users and department administrators.
- •Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- •Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
- •Comply with legal obligations.
We will not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information with:
- •Payment Processors: To process subscription payments.
- •Hosting and Infrastructure Providers: To operate and maintain the platform.

- •Department Administrators: If you are a recruit on a department plan, your administrator may view your test scores, progress data, and engagement metrics within their admin portal.
- •Law Enforcement or Legal Authorities: If required by law, subpoena, or court order, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services to you. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

Educational Use Disclaimer
BadgePrep is an educational preparation and career development platform. All study materials, practice tests, memory games, flashcard content, interview preparation resources, fitness plans, and related tools are provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Important:
- •BadgePrep does not guarantee employment, certification, or admission to any law enforcement agency, fire department, EMS organization, academy, or federal agency. Hiring decisions are made solely by the respective agencies and are beyond our control.
- •Study materials are sourced from publicly available official sources, including state Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) websites and federal agency career pages. BadgePrep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any government agency, POST commission, police department, fire department, or federal law enforcement agency.
- •Practice test questions are designed to simulate the format and content of real exams based on official POST exam formats. They are not actual exam questions and should not be treated as such.
